Co-Founder, 1994, Richard Hugo House, a center for readers, writers, and the literary arts in Seattle, Washington. Wrote Core Values and Mission Statement Papers for the organization. Served on Board of Directors, 1994-2004.
1993 to 2013, Volunteer Book Narrator, Washington Talking Book and Braille Library. Performed narration for recorded books in a variety of genres, including fiction, self-help, hobby, and science.
